Policy on Workshop, Visit, and Participation Indemnification

This Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding participation in workshops, visits, and other activities organized or hosted by [Botiq / EDR² (Eat, Drink, Repair, Repeat) / Commuinty Workshop at Vidacity. All participants and visitors are required to adhere to this policy.

1. Acknowledgment of Risks

Participants and visitors acknowledge and understand that participation in [specific workshop/event name, or “any workshop, visit, or activity”] organized or hosted by Botiq / EDR² (Eat, Drink, Repair, Repeat) / Commuinty Workshop at Vidacity (hereinafter referred to as “the Activities”) may involve certain inherent risks, dangers, and hazards, including but not limited to:

  • Physical injury (minor or serious)
  • Property damage
  • Loss of personal belongings
  • Exposure to machinery, tools, or chemicals
  • Electrical hazards
  • Fire hazards
  • Other unforeseen risks associated with a workshop environment.

Participants and visitors voluntarily assume all such risks, known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of [Botiq / EDR² (Eat, Drink, Repair, Repeat) / Commuinty Workshop at Vidacity or others, and assume full responsibility for their participation.

2. Release and Waiver of Liability

In consideration for being permitted to participate in the Activities, participants and visitors hereby agree to release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Botiq / EDR² (Eat, Drink, Repair, Repeat) / Commuinty Workshop at Vidacity, its owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, and representatives (hereinafter collectively referred to as “the Releasees”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant/visitor, or to any property belonging to the participant/visitor, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise, while participating in the Activities.

3. Indemnification

Participants and visitors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any and all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities, including attorney’s fees, incurred by the Releasees as a result of or arising from the participant/visitor’s participation in the Activities, or from any breach of this Policy by the participant/visitor.

4. Medical Treatment Authorization

In the event of an emergency, participants and visitors authorize BBotiq / EDR² (Eat, Drink, Repair, Repeat) / Commuinty Workshop at Vidacity to obtain medical care from any licensed physician, hospital, or medical clinic for the participant/visitor. Participants and visitors agree to be responsible for any and all costs associated with such medical care.

5. Severability

Participants and visitors agree that if any portion of this Policy is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

6. Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.

7. Acceptance of Terms

By participating in the Activities, individuals acknowledge that they have read and understand this Policy and agree to all its terms. Participation in any Activity signifies acceptance of this Policy.
