The PDPA is a data protection law that governs the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data by organizations in Singapore. It aims to protect individuals’ personal data and applies to all organizations operating in Singapore.

Key Principles of PDPA

**Consent:** We will obtain consent before collecting, using, or disclosing personal data.

  • Purpose Limitation: We will collect, use, and disclose personal data only for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances.
  • Notification: We will notify individuals of the purposes for which their personal data is being collected, used, or disclosed.
  • Access and Correction: Individuals have the right to access and correct their personal data held by us.
  • Accuracy: We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that personal data collected is accurate and complete.
  • Protection: We will implement reasonable security measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal, or similar risks.
  • Retention: We will cease to retain personal data when it is no longer necessary for any business or legal purpose.
  • Transfer Limitation: We will not transfer personal data outside Singapore except in accordance with the PDPA.
